Yesler Detailing was built by two Eastside friends who grew up between Kirkland and Bellevue, obsessed over German cars, and decided premium detailing should come straight to your driveway — not keep you stuck in a waiting room.

Yesler Detailing was founded by long–time friends John Moyer and Connor Temple — both born and raised between Kirkland and Bellevue, Washington and both lifelong car guys.
For John, it started in high school when he was gifted his grandmother’s old 2001 BMW 3 Series. It wasn’t a brand-new supercar, but it was his first real connection to German engineering. He spent summers doing whatever odd jobs he could find — from working at Red Apple in Bridle Trails to shifts at local grocery stores — saving every dollar to buy parts, upgrade the car, and get his hands dirty under the hood. That’s where the obsession with understanding how vehicles truly work began.
Connor was on a similar path, clocking hours at QFC in Downtown Bellevue and quietly building his own appreciation for performance vehicles — especially Maseratis, Aston Martins, and Porsches.
In 2021, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, John’s passion for cars exploded. He applied for a job as a car detailer at Circle Audi in Long Beach, California. But during the interview, his enthusiasm and product knowledge steered him into a full-time sales associate role at just 20 years old.
From there, John built an impressive lineup of German cars over the years, including:
- 2001 BMW 3 Series (the car that started it all)
- 2009 Audi A4
- 2018 Audi S3
- 2022 Audi Q5
- 2014 BMW M2
- 2023 Audi A4
Inevitably, that passion rubbed off on his close friend Connor. John eventually convinced him to step into the world of German performance with a brand-new 2023 Audi S5 — a car that perfectly matched Connor’s taste for refined, high-performance vehicles.
